Lessons for Today

There should be no uncertainty or confusion regarding the lessons to be learned from the condition of the world today. Unless they are learned, the history of evil will continue to repeat itself and the battle of Armageddon will be indefinitely prolonged.

A dictionary defines "Armageddon" as "the place of a great battle to be fought out on 'the great day of God' between the powers of good and evil." No one is exempt from this warfare which is taking place in human consciousness.

Evil is primarily mental, and the outward furious fighting it engenders, is only the expression of the turmoil within. One may ask, "Could this terrific conflict between good and evil, which is the subject of prophecy from Genesis to Revelation have been forestalled?" Every belief in evil can be destroyed before it bursts out in destruction. To prevent the outward depredations of evil, one must recognize and resist its false mental arguments before they take form in acts.
