Permit me at this time testify to the healing power of God's ever-present, ever-operating law of love for His beloved child, as revealed in Christian Science. I first began to study this Science in the year 1932, and it has brought me an abundance of health and happiness ever since.

I was graduated from a medical training school for nursing, and, desiring further knowledge along medical lines, I registered for postgraduate work in a western city. Little did I then realize that while there I was to find the "pearl of great price," whose rich treasures I should claim more fully years later.

One Sunday morning, while walking with a friend, I was attracted by the many automobiles parked for blocks along the street, and remarked, "Something of importance must be going on to bring out so many people this early in the morning." As we neared the middle of one of the blocks, high up on the face of a plain yet beautiful building, I read for the first time these words: "First Church of Christ, Scientist." I desired to know just what there was in there that had drawn all these people, and I determined to find out at the first opportunity. The opportunity presented itself shortly thereafter, and I attended a Christian Science service on two Sunday mornings, but no more.
