It is with a sincere desire to express my gratitude for Christian Science that I write this testimony. Sometimes I used to wonder whether Christian Science rally teaches the truth about God, but these doubts were always removed by my reading something under "Selected Articles" in the Christian Science Sentinel. Very early in my study one of my children, at that time a baby, and I both had bad colds. I saw this as an opportunity to use some of the truths I had learned. Each time the thought of the cold came to me I denied it and replaced it with the truth. In the night I awoke, and distinctly heard the words, "You are healed." I knew this included the baby, and I said so. The next morning there was not a sign of cold.

My children have been helped many times through Christian Science. One boy had no pain with mumps, and although it was predicted that the other two children would have the disease, since they had been playing together, this did not occur. Another child had measles, and seemed poorly for only one day.

We are very grateful for all the physical healings we have had, but words cannot convey the gratitude I feel for all that Christian Science means. I am grateful to the practitioner who has helped me many times; particularly so for her loving patience in helping me to grasp the truths that make us free.
