In an article in a recent issue of your paper, the following questions are asked: "Should the church today give the same attention to the healing of the body that Jesus did?" and, "Is Christian Science good or bad?" In answer to these questions may I point out that much space in the Gospels is devoted to accounts of the healing of the sick, and Jesus and his disciples did this healing work effectively. Christian Science has come to reinstate the methods used by Jesus. His method was the result of his spiritual understanding, which enabled him to make practical use of the laws of God, and thereby to heal the sick and reform the sinner.
