All Can Help

Is it true, as many are tempted to believe, that world problems have assumed such magnitude that the individual is helpless to aid in their solution? Is the role of the average person today of such minor importance that his thoughts have no bearing upon the course of history?

Gratefully, the Christian Scientist answers both questions with a vigorous "No!" Christian Science reveals that all problems are primarily mental, and that their solution must be found the correct application of the truth. The difficulties confronting mankind as a whole are of a nature similar to those which perplex the individual—are, in fact, the composite difficulties of individuals everywhere. Each of us has a vital interest in seeing that they are correctly overcome, and thereby each shares the responsibility for their successful mastery.

The inspired teachings of Mary Baker Eddy, the Discover and Founder of Christian Science, enable the individual to play an important part in the improving of world thought and consequently in the readjusting of world affairs. Since a nation's welfare is measured by that of its citizens, the demonstration of good in the experience of one brings its measure of benefit to all, even as mankind generally is blessed by the good works of Edison, Browning, Marconi, Beethoven, and many others.
