I am grateful that when I was a very little girl Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy was in our home and in daily use in conjunction with the Bible, and that The Christian Science Journal, the Christian Science Sentinel, and The Christian Science Monitor were an integral part of our household before I grew up, and are in my own home now.

Applied Christian Science guided, protected, and cared for me during a very beautiful childhood and until I was in high school; then I had a severe case of not wanting anything to do with Christian Science. I looked into matter for pleasure and joy, companionship and health, but I found sin, sorrow, and disease, and when it seemed that even hope had gone, I suddenly wanted Christian Science as a hungry child. Then I really started studying. I did not want to put the books aside day or night. The truth that was revealed to me was a glorious ray of light leading me home—to my Father-Mother God.

I have been healed of eczema, fallen arches, loss of voice, and burns; lost articles have been returned and employment secured.
