Your kindness in printing the subject title of the Lesson-Sermon,...

Ceylon Daily News

Your kindness in printing the subject title of the Lesson-Sermon, in the notice appearing in the weekly list of church services, has been greatly appreciated by Christian Scientists in Ceylon. I now write to ask you to extend that kindness and publish a correction of the notice which appeared last Saturday.

The subject of Sunday's Lesson-Sermon was "Soul," not "Souls," as announced in your esteemed journal.

That this seemingly trifling error is one which in the eyes of Christian Scientists merits a correction, may be gauged from the following extract from the Lesson-Sermon in question (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 466): "Soul or Spirit signifies Deity and nothing else. There is no finite soul nor spirit. Soul or Spirit means only one Mind, and cannot be rendered in the plural."

We'd love to hear from you!
