Christian Science healing is the result of enlightened faith in the power and love of God to overcome and eradicate disease. This faith is the outcome of spiritual understanding, which reveals the real nature of man as spiritual and eternal, the image and likeness of God, as the Bible declares.

Thus it will be seen that Christian Science has no connection whatsoever with faith in will power, autosuggestion, or Coueism, as was alleged in a recent issue of your paper.

In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," Mary Baker Eddy has written (p. 297), "Until belief becomes faith, and faith becomes spiritual understanding, human thought has little relation to the actual or divine."
