Victory

The shining peaks which mark the place where peace and freedom
dwell,
Rise far above the murky scene of error's barren strand;
For freedom is the gracious gift of God, most High, to man—
The gift that leads men's feet away from evil's shifting sand,
From shoals of fear, and greed, and hate, where tyranny would
dwell,
To lands where truth and love abide, and peace on every hand.

Here firm and clear in every heart the call of God is heard,
And men arise in His great strength to seek the righteous way—
To speak the truth, to do the right, to live in amity;
To prove the glory of God's son and worship God alway.
Here love they truth and honor too, and men to men are just;
They glorify the God of truth, and see His perfect day.

In every land, in every age, the voice of freedom sounds;
The heart responds to freedom's call, man knows that he is free;
For Life is good, and Love is All, and liberty is sweet.
The prescience of immortal Life reveals eternity;
Where man, the image of his God, forever dwells in Love,
The God of freedom is, He reigns—the God of victory.
