Christian Science has been my only physician for many years. I turned to it in my extremity, when medical science had failed me, after the birth of my second child. I could not gain my health and strength, and finally a serious nervous condition developed. We were living in a small town in Kansas, and my mother at the time was in California under Christian Science treatment. She was beautifully healed, and the thought came to me, Why could not I also be healed? I wrote to her and asked to have work done. The practitioner began to work right away, and after one month's absent treatment I was healed. This transformed my whole life and made me a well, strong woman, although I had never before been strong.

I wish also to express gratitude for a complete healing of a very bad fracture just below the hip. A practitioner was called immediately, and I did not have any pain or ill effects from the break. The surgeon, who set it without an anesthetic, was amazed when he saw that I was quiet, undisturbed, and without pain. The healing was slow, but complete and perfect. For this experience I am most grateful; it brought God very close. Many beautiful truths became my own. The words from II Samuel, "God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect," were before me. Their truth was proved, for my way was made perfect, and the allness of God, good, was demonstrated. I have a deep sense of gratitude for the faithful practitioner and for the many friends who were so kind.

I should also like to express gratitude for an instantaneous healing of oak poisoning, on one side of the face and over one eye. I tried to work for myself, but the condition became painful and irritated, so I asked for help. The result was an instantaneous healing.

I am grateful for God's great love and protecting care through all the years that I have been a student of Christian Science; grateful for the good and pure Christ Jesus; and for our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us the truth, the same truth Jesus taught and practiced, and for all the activities she established for our progress and spiritual growth; and I am especially grateful for class instruction.—(Mrs.) Charlotte F.
