Through the daily study and application of Christian Science I have received many blessings, for which I am deeply grateful. I have had many physical healings, such as those of rheumatism, nervous breakdown, abscessed ears, boils, influenza, and tonsillitis. I was also healed of grief when an only child passed on. The study of Christian Science has taught me that God is Love, Life, and that therefore in the proportion that I love, I truly live. Before taking up the study of Christian Science, I thought of Principle as a cold, exacting law. Christian Science has taught me that the Principle which governs the universe is God, divine Love. As we learn to credit the evidence of divine Love, we see goodness and love everywhere.

I am very grateful for all our periodicals, which, like angels, come to help us know that God keeps our inspiration always fresh and sweet.

Someone has written, "The light in a lighthouse does not make any noise, it just shines." So my daily prayer is to let my light shine so that my brother man can see what Christian Science is doing for me. Mere words can never express my gratitude for the Way-shower, Christ Jesus, for our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the church which she founded, for class instruction, and for the practitioners, who are always so loving and kind.
