One of your readers has drawn my attention to an article in a recent issue wherein your contributor has described the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, as "senseless prose-doggerel."

It may be sufficient to state that Mary Baker Eddy's teachings, which are to be found in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and her other writings, are bringing healing through spiritual means to thousands of sufferers throughout the world.

The doctrine of Christian Science is based upon the teachings of Christ Jesus, and the healings effected by Christian Science are identical in method with those of the Master, as any student of this Science may quickly perceive.

The Christian Science church founded by Mrs. Eddy has branches in almost every important town and city throughout the world, and this progress has been achieved in great measure through the healings brought about by Christian Science.
