Mary Baker Eddy writes on page 162 of Science and Health, "Christian Science brings to the body the sunlight of Truth, which invigorates and purifies." It has brought into my life health, happiness, peace, and prosperity. Before coming into Christian Science I had been told by four doctors that I should be an invalid all my life, because I was suffering from serious heart trouble. I also had severe hemorrhoids and constipation. Added to this, our business had failed. In my extremity, I remembered what I had been told about Christian Science, and I decided to go to the Christian Science church to see if I could find relief. At that service the peace of God entered my heart. I walked home, although I had not done such a thing for a long time.

The next morning I realized that I was free from physical difficulty, and my healing has been permanent. I realized then that all things are possible to God. I asked help of a practitioner, which was lovingly given. In a very short time the business problem was solved. Since that time, now over eighteen years ago, I have led a very active life and have seen "a new heaven and a new earth," as St. John writes in the twenty-first chapter of Revelation.

Mrs. Eddy writes on page 227 of Science and Health, "Citizens of the world, accept the 'glorious liberty of the children of God,' and be free!" Christian Science does indeed make us free from the bondage of mortal mind.
