Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Newspaper editors, many of whom live in counties where we have no branches of The Mother Church, are renewing their subscriptions to The Christian Science Monitor on the exchange-for-advertising plan. A number of new subscriptions have been received during the year in addition to renewals. In renewing his subscription for another year, one editor said he would not be without our daily newspaper; that it is worth every cent of the subscription price. Another editor referred to the high standard set by the Monitor, and said that it would be well for every newspaper editor to have our paper before him as a reminder of good journalism.

A man who had been unable to hear for some time due to a belief of deafness, was asked to listen to the "Church of the Air" period. He did so, and for the first time heard every word that was said.

A Presbyterian minister, who listens to our devotional radio programs, stated that much good comes to him from them. He particularly mentioned the fact that we do not censure other denominations. Throughout the year many reports of physical healings come to the office.
