Nine years ago twins were born to me three days apart. That led to complications, such as child-bed fever, thrombosis, and so forth, which necessitated the immediate calling of a doctor. My condition became so much worse that a specialist in women's diseases also had to be called, and he considered my condition very serious, almost hopeless. It was impossible for me to leave my bed. Finally both doctors gave up all hope, for they were unable to help me.

In this distress we turned to Christian Science, of which we had once heard. We asked for Christian Science help, which was immediately given us. After the very first treatment I was able to leave my bed for the first time in weeks, although but for a short time; the fever had disappeared at once. I was filled with wonderful calm and a deep peace. Treatment in Christian Science was continued, and after a short time I was completely healed.

Three months later one of the twins was taken with inflammation of the lungs. We immediately turned to Christian Science again and asked for help. After the first treatment given by the practitioner we were, to our joy, able to see an immediate improvement. After the practitioner gave a few more treatments, our little girl was completely restored. The twins have never been seriously ill since then, and today are healthy and well. I, too, have remained well and healthy, except for slight illnesses, of which I have been quickly healed through Christian Science.
