Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

A minister attended a Christian Science service and afterwards borrowed "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. A doctor asked for literature after attending a Christian Science lecture. The editor of the Pocomoke City paper said that he had requests for the Christian Science lecture fully a year after he had published it in his paper.

A woman who had suffered from a very severe headache for two days was healed while listening to one of our radio programs. After one of our programs we received the following letter: "I am interested in Christian Science. I never knew where to get the literature until I learned last evening on the radio. Will you please send me some copies of this literature?" A woman reported a healing of illness of a week's standing while listening to a lecture being radiocast. A man in the City Hospital wrote that he and twenty-five other patients listened in to one of our radiocasts. He said: "We all thank you, because it is very uplifting. We feel that we have something to live for, for we are all God's children, and He cares for us." The same man wrote after another program, "It is always a help to us to know that God loves us."

A boy had met with a severe injury to his eye. His mother brought him into the house, and they listened to one of our radiocasts. At the end of the fifteen-minute program the boy was healed.
