Mrs. Eddy says in Science and Health (p. 506), "Spirit, God, gathers unformed thoughts into their proper channels, and unfolds these thoughts, even as He opens the petals of a holy purpose in order that the purpose may appear."

In my early schooling, the material belief of insufficient ability to master the various requirements presented itself. It has been my privilege recently to prove the utter falsehood of such a belief by completing my chosen field of study in one of our well-known universities.

During my second year in school my teacher expressed the opinion that I should never graduate from high school. Christian Science was presented to our family when I was in the third grade, and from that time until I became twenty years of age I attended the Christian Science Sunday School. Through the unselfish love of my mother, and the truths that were given in Sunday school, I was able to complete my elementary school education.
