I rejoice that Mary Baker Eddy gave to the world Christian Science, the law of God. Science and Health and her other writings, when read and studied, give one a working knowledge of God as Principle. I have seen many proofs of the efficacy of this healing, saving, protective power during the past twenty-nine years.

From early girlhood I was the victim of terrific headaches. After I was married and was the mother of two sons, these headaches became almost unbearable. For years many physicians did their best for me. Then it was decided that I should have a major operation for reflex headaches. When I returned from the hospital I could hardly walk, on account of the extensive surgical work, and the headaches continued for three years. Christian Science treatment was then commenced. I received relief immediately, but it was some time before the healing was complete.

I became the mother of another son, although surgeons had said that I should never be normal again. This son has now reached young manhood and has never known any method of healing other than Christian Science. My two other sons have also had no other help than Christian Science, since it came into our home.
