The Man God Knows

The man God knows dwells not in confines drear
Of matter's bounds; he lives in Mind, pure, free,
Untouched of earth, in holy ecstasy,
And knows himself to be Love's image dear.
The man of God can have no thought of fear,
Or want; he knows that all that God doth see
Is perfect now, so infinite is He
That nought exists but in His vision clear.

My friend, strive thou to be the man God knows,
In thought and deed today; such strife
Alone can bring to thee the crown of Life!
Since Life is Love, affection pure which flows
To all mankind marks progress towards this goal
Of finding man to be at one with Soul.
