Sunday School Notes and Comments

It was my great privilege to be enrolled in the Sunday school at the age of ten years. I shall never cease to be grateful for the spiritual foundation it has given me, enabling me to adhere to divine Principle.

I also owe endless gratitude to my mother, who encouraged my regular attendance during the years when many counterattractions were arising on Sundays. She always made sure that Sunday school came first, even though I would have to miss some pleasurable excursion.

It was not until later on, when leaving Sunday school, that I began fully to realize the value of those classes for young people for which Mrs. Eddy so lovingly provided, and parents cannot be too insistent on regular attendance, because during every session seeds of spiritual truth are planted in the pupil's consciousness. Though these may lie dormant for years, sooner or later they will spring up and bring forth fruit in better lives.
