I am most grateful for Christian Science, a religion...
I am most grateful for Christian Science, a religion which teaches us to obey the command, "Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
Over twenty-eight years ago, through the unselfed love of a neighbor, I was led to Christian Science. I was invited to attend the church services, where much love and gratitude were expressed. I was brought up in an orthodox church and had attended Sunday school from early childhood, but I did not look upon my heavenly Father as divine Love.
For almost ten years before coming into Christian Science, I had been under a doctor's care for a stomach ailment. I doctored with some very noted physicians, but received no apparent help. When I heard of Christian Science, I willingly and gladly began studying it. Through this earnest study I gained an understanding of God's love and truth which healed me permanently in a very short time.
Since coming into Christian Science I have had many blessings and many proofs of God's tender love, protection, guidance, and healing power.
I have had many healings, including those of heart trouble, business problems, and grief at the passing on of a loved one. I am most grateful for the testimonies given at the Wednesday evening meetings. These testimonies have helped me to gain a better understanding of Truth.
I am grateful for all the activities of the Christian Science organization; for the privilege of membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for every activity in which I have shared; and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who has made possible all these blessings by her great love for God and man.
(Mrs.) Anna M. Cordell, Davenport, Iowa.
It has been a joyous experience to witness the demonstrations which my mother has related in the above testimony.
Christian Science has brought blessings into our home for many years, and I had the privilege of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. I cannot adequately express my gratitude for this training.
