In a recent issue a reference was made to Christian Science which may lead your readers to think that Christian Science is a form of faith-healing.

Through close study of the life and works of Christ Jesus, Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, saw that Jesus knew that God alone healed the sick and sinning. His prayers did not show mere faith in God, they showed a scientific knowledge of the power, presence, and law of God. Christian Science is a reinstatement of the Christianity which Jesus taught and practiced. Many have been healed through the reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, not because of mere faith in it, but because the truth contained in it has awakened the thought from materiality to an apprehension of the spiritual.
