I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science.
Although my mother had been a student of Christian Science for years, it was not until 1924 that I became interested in it. At that time I was suffering from chronic arthiritis. The joints throughout my body had become ossified, and my neck had stiffened until I was unable to turn my head. The condition also manifested itself in one of my eyes. After being told by specialists that I should never walk again and should be blind in one eye, I turned to Christian Science. Although at times the healing seemed slow and I became discouraged, through the consistent work of a loving practitioner I was completely healed—not only of the arthritis, but also of the eye trouble.
I am truly grateful for this healing, for many other healings, and for the blessings which I have received since taking up Christian Science.
For membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, for class instruction, and for all the activities of the Christian Science movement, I am indeed grateful.
Edward L. Peters, Oakland, California.
