I have had many healings in Christian Science, for which I am grateful. I should like to share with others the following experiences. In the middle of the winter I suffered from severe frostbite; my nose was swollen to twice its normal size. By my clinging to the truth that God made man in His own image and likeness, and to the verse in I Corinthians, "No flesh should glory in his presence," and with the help of a practitioner, the healing was rapidly accomplished.

When the valve of a radiator blew off, my hand was badly burned, and the pain was very great. I was able to go at once to the Reading Room, declaring the truth as I went. I picked up a copy of The Christian Science Journal, which contained a testimony of the overcoming of a burn. This helped me to realize clearly the unreality of matter, and I was immediately healed. I have been very grateful for the Reading Rooms. They are like sanctuaries, where one finds comfort and help.

Also I should like to express my gratitude for the healing of a broken rib. It was a wonderful experience to study the Lesson-Sermon, "Are Sin, Disease, and Death Real?" and, in just a few days, to be lifted out of a condition where every move was torture, into complete freedom.
