During the many years that I have been studying Christian Science I have had marvelous proofs of the healing and protecting power of divine Love. The testimonies that I read regularly in The Herald of Christian Science (French edition) have always helped me so much that I wish in my turn to mention some of the experiences I have had.

One Sunday morning, when I work up, I was paralyzed on my right side. Nevertheless, I was able to go to the evening church service with my mother. Feeling very weak, I requested the help of a Christian Science practitioner, which was kindly given me. On the following day I went to my work. I felt sustained by Truth, and was happy to find that Truth protected me from the observation and comment of those around me. One day the practitioner explained to me very clearly that I should above all watch my thoughts and accept only thoughts of Life. She said that I, as God's child, could not do other than love Life, for to live is to love God, and to express joy. From that moment on I felt stronger, and progress was rapid.

At another time I was suddenly atacked by a violent headache while I was at my work. Being unable to go on, I returned home with much difficulty. My condition seemed so alarming that my mother went to the practitioner, who came to see me. I soon felt very much better, and on the following morning I was able to go to work again.
