For over twenty-five years I have been a student of...

For over twenty-five years I have been a student of Christian Science, receiving its daily guidance and protection.
Many times I have been greatly blessed by the testimonies printed in the Christian Science weekly and monthly publications, and I should like to relate an experience I had shortly after I became interested in Christian Science.
During the many years that I have been studying Christian Science I have had marvelous proofs of the healing and protecting power of divine Love.
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science.
In February, 1928, in a very small town twenty-five miles from home, our automobile was hit by the locomotive of a fast freight train.
I give this testimony in sincere gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me.
My gratitude for Christian Science increases as my study of this subject unfolds more of its beauty and grandeur.

Before telling of some of the healings I have had through the study of Christian Science, I wish to express my gratitude to God for His loving care, for Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science; for the ever-loving counsel of The Christian Science Board of Directors; for my membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church, and for calss instruction; for The Christian Science Publishing Society, the Committee on Publication, and our faithful, patient practitioners; for the privilege I have had in attending the Christian Science Sunday School form the age of three.
