If "Antipas," who writes in a recent issue, will make a further study of the teachings of Christian Science, he will find that many of the views he now holds are incorrect. These teachings have healed and satisfied multitudes of people throughout the world. Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, makes a marked distinction between the meaning of the word "soul" signifying material sense and "Soul" as one of the synonyms for Deity. This distinction illumines the Scriptures. Christian Science also teaches that a similar distinction must be made between the real and the unreal; in other words, between the eternal and the temporal, or material.

Mrs. Eddy defines "reality" on page 335 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," as follows: "Reality is spiritual, harmonious, immutable, immortal, divine, eternal." Further, on page 21 of her work, "Miscellaneous Writings," we find this statement: "As the ages advance in spirituality, Christian Science will be seen to depart from the trend of other Christian denominations in no wise except by increase of spirituality." There can be no doubt that the aim of Christianity is the healing of all mankind's ills, and that is the spiritualization of thought through right desire and divine influence, which heals and regenerates.
