True Liberty

I know that Love now cares for all;
Why should I fear?
If some, whom I have always loved,
And still hold dear,
Should doubt my loyalty—should fail
To understand—
I still must know that all are now
At Love's command.

In this I must rejoice today—
Love governs all.
And I must know that every wrong
Is bound to fall,
As each one seeks the truth and finds
Love's harmony,
His power to think but good. This is
True liberty.
