Reflecting Divine Love

How we love the beautiful statement in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need"! Whether the need is supply, health, friendship, or something else, this statement can be proved by anyone who conforms to the law of divine Love.

The beloved disciple said, "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." Since God is infinite, that which meets every human need is always present. How wonderful is the fact that divine Love is ever present! We need only to be aware of it, and be always alert to express divine Love.

Sometimes one may seem to find it hard to love all. But if he will examine his thought he will find he is believing that some are not lovable, and therefore that it is hard to love them. We do not have to love an unlovely mortal; in reality there is no such thing. We need to turn away from the evidence before the material senses and realize that man is the image and likeness of God, divine Love. Seeing man as the image and likeness of the Supreme Being, who is "altogether lovely," we manifest tolerance, and are kind and just in our dealings with everyone. Divine Love is All, and is expressed universally. So when we lift our thought above corporeal sense testimony and realize that Love is reflected universally, we see divine loveliness everywhere. Then it is easy to love all.
