Security under God's Law

Christian Science healing proves the presence of the Christ, Truth, in human experience. When we are truly listening for the voice of God, humbly, patiently, confidently, the Christ surely comes to us, bringing peace, joy, and healing. Our Master, Christ Jesus, referring to the Christ, clearly promised, as recorded in Matthew's Gospel, "Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." As understood in Christian Science, this statement foreshadows the end of all material error, that is, belief in the reality of a material creation.

Mankind has before it the concept of mortal, material existence, having no permanence, in which all is in a state of constant transition. This false concept yields to the understanding that real existence is a manifestation of divine intelligence, and that Spirit is forever expressed in harmonious activity. Because God is All, He is the only Lawmaker, and it is impossible to conceive of a situation where His law is not instantly available to meet the human need.

Spiritual qualities, such as humility, patience, confidence in good, when firmly held in one's consciousness and put into daily practice, greatly aid in the unfoldment of our oneness with God and our discernment of His laws.
