Sunday School Hours

The Mother Church and a number of its branches include in their cards in The Christian Science Journal the hour when Sunday school convenes.

Visitors, those who are traveling, and others who have children eligible for attendance in Christian Science Sunday schools, do not always know the hours when these Sunday schools convene; therefore, several years ago The Mother Church decided to include in its card the fact that Sunday school convenes at 10.45 a.m. Since that time quite a number of branches, recognizing the usefulness of this notice, have done likewise.

Christian Science services sponsored by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Merced, California, will be held in Yosemite National Park every Sunday afternoon at three o'clock during June, July, and August, in the Church Bowl. Testimony meetings will be held every Wednesday evening at eight o'clock. From September 1 to May 31 services will be held each Sunday afternoon at three o'clock in the Village Chapel. Testimony meetings will be held the first Wednesday of the month at eight o'clock. Visitors are welcome.
