I am extremely grateful to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for providing the periodicals as a channel through which we may express our gratitude for the healings and proofs of God's care which we experience in Christian Science.

Several years ago I visited a friend in California, whom I had known since childhood, but had not seen for some time. I found her enjoying health and happiness, whereas she had previously suffered from ill-health and despondency. In reply to my inquiry, she told me that Christian Science was responsible for her healing. I then became eager to learn more of this religion, and so purchased a copy of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and soon began the daily study of the Lesson-Sermon as found in the Christian Science Quarterly.

Since that time I have had many wonderful proofs of the healing power of Truth. Colds, headaches, influeza, skin eruption, nervousness, and many other physical difficulties have been overcome. I was also beautifully sustained when one very dear to me passed on.
