Upper Darby Township Review
From Letters, Substantially as Published
A recent issue containing some criticisms of Christian Science gives me the valued opportunity of speaking to your readers regarding the profound revelation of Truth which came to Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science; a revelation that brings salvation to all accepting it understandingly, from every ill that "flesh is heir to," including sin, disease, want, and ultimately death itself.
To Mrs. Eddy was revealed, while reading the Bible, the primary spiritual law upon which the healings recorded in the Bible were based. An understanding of this primary and eternal law reveals what Christ Jesus was giving to all people who accepted his teachings then, and who are now willing to practice them. Nothing short of an understanding of this law will enable one to heal the sick in the manner he and his disciples healed them, and as thousands of Christian Scientists are doing today.
