When I first attended a Christian Science Wednesday evening testimony meeting I did not understand very much of what I heard, but I went home convinced that I had found the truth, and feeling happy and very much at peace.

Since I began the study of Christian Science, various problems have been solved. A feeling of loneliness and an inferiority complex have been overcome; also, physical problems such as a bleeding eye, sciatica, sinus trouble, neuralgic pains in my head, were all healed with the help of a practitioner, and usually very quickly.

When I became ill with influenza, I wanted to solve that problem by myself. I worked to the best of my understanding. In reading the Bible I came to the book of Daniel, which relates that the king saw "four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire," and they were unhurt, and the fourth was like the Son of God. Then I saw clearly that with God at my side I need fear nothing; and I was healed in that same moment.
