The Christian Science Board of Directors announces that the following members of The Christian Science Board of Lectureship have, in accordance with the practice followed for a number of years, signified their desire to retire for a year or longer from active service in order that they may devote their time particularly to the study and practice of Christian Science. These lecturers will therefore not be available for calls to lecture from July 1, 1939, to June 30, 1940:

Mr. Gavin W. Allan Mr. Peter B. Biggins Mrs. Louise Wheatley Cook Dr. Hendrik J. de Lange Mr. Paul Stark Seeley

Mrs. Margaret Matters (nee Glenn) and Mr. Richard J. Davis will, as was announced in the Christian Science Sentinel of March 19, 1938, also take the year 1939-1940 for study and practice.
