"Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness,...

"Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" I am mindful that I have not yet expressed, by testimony, the gratitude I owe to Christian Science for the unnumbered blessings it has brought into my life.

I had been interested in this Science prior to my marriage to a physician, but in the years following it became secondary, until it was almost entirely laid aside. However, there were many times when I was conscious of the fact that I had laid aside the "pearl of great price," for although I read Mrs. Eddy's works in moments of stress, I never seemed to regain the exaltation and joy of my earlier studies. My thinking had become anything but what I knew Christian Science to be.

Subsequently, about five years ago, much friction, discord, and unhappiness seemed to be a part of my daily life, and the future looked dark indeed. I then again earnestly turned to Christian Science for the solution of these problems. With help and encouragement from a wise and loving practitioner, my thoughts of resentment, criticism, condemnation, self-pity, self-justification, and self-righteousness were exchanged for correct concepts, with the result that my home conditions were improved correspondingly. My two children were allowed to go to the Christian Science Sunday School. Today, my home life is happier than ever before.
