A Christian Science program in the Canadian Broadcasting...

"Devotional Period" talk, over Canadian Broadcasting Corporation network, by Mr. Fred Clark,—on April 16, 1939. Subject, "Surely the Lord is in this place."

A Christian Science program in the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation "Devotional Period" series was conducted from Station CBL, Toronto, Ontario, on Sunday afternoon, April 16, from 2.30 to 3 o'clock, by Fred Clark, a former First Reader of Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist, Toronto. This program was radiocast under the auspices of the Committee on Publication for the Province of Ontario and had the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Dorothy Stanley Windrim, the soloist, was assisted by Florence Mackay Joyce at the organ.

The program opened with Hymn No. 193 in the Christian Science Hymnal. Then Mr. Clark read from the Bible as follows: Daniel 3:14-18, 21, 24, 25; Psalms 139:1-3, 7-10. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: 303:28-14; 550:15-23; 569:6-14; 520:3-5 (to!).

The program continued with Hymn No. 208 in the Christian Science Hymnal; the words of this hymn were written by Mary Baker Eddy. Mr. Clark then read an address substantially as follows:
