Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for Christian Science and for what it has meant to me during the last nineteen years. I did not take up this study for the healing of physical ills, though I have since received many beautiful healings, and have relied wholly on Truth for all my needs. I was healed of constipation, from which I had suffered all my life, just by reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for the first time.

I should also like to express gratitude for the healing of a finger which had been torn off at the first joint by an electric motor, and was hanging by a small piece of flesh. A practitioner was called, and in just a few moments after she began working all pain ceased. This occurred on a Tuesday morning, and on the following Sunday I drove my car to church. While to mortal sense the healing seemed slow, it was finally complete, and I experienced much spiritual growth.

I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, for serving in a branch church, and for the blessed privilege of class instruction.
