It is with a great sense of joy that I testify to the healing efficacy of Christian Science.

While in the United States Navy, I became discouraged with what seemed a purposeless life, and longed to know God. Then I met and married a girl who had been taught in a Christian Science Sunday School. From then on Christian Science permeated my whole life, like the leaven the "woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened."

There followed a period of trials, because of the loss of my wife. The loss seemed greater than I could bear, and I turned for help to Christian Science, which has since healed me of many conditions of poor health. At the time of my extremity I was confined in a state hospital for the insane. All through this experience I was conscious of God's protection. In a very short time I was released and restored to my own place.

I am grateful for the loving help of the Christian Science practitioner, and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church.
