One of the Bible prophets assures us that God will restore unto us "the years that the locust hath eaten." That this prophecy is being fulfilled today in human experience through the healing ministrations of Christian Science, I should like to give testimony.

Christian Science came into my family when I was a young schoolgirl through the healing of an older sister, who had been in a state of both acute and semi-invalidism for eight years. Everything that medical and surgical knowledge could devise had been used in an attempt to heal her, but with no lasting effect. Her case was taken before a clinic of eminent physicians—including a president of a leading medical college—and pronounced both incurable and fatal. Under Christian Science treatment, however, her healing was accomplished in a matter of days. Later she married and gave birth to a normal and healthy child, though the physicians had stated this was impossible.

My mother was also healed about this time of a cancerous growth of the stomach and gallstones, after being given up by two leading physicians with a verdict that she had not more than two weeks to live. In her extremity she called for Christian Science treatment. The first treatment restored to her the best health she had enjoyed in years. With the return of the cancer pain, however, about three months later, Christian Science help was again sought, with the result that at the end of three days the cancer came away. The condition never returned.
