In his inspiring Sermon on the Mount, Christ Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." This Beatitude, fraught with significance for students of Christian Science, reveals how the kingdom of heaven may be demonstrated on earth. It requires of us that we shall relinquish a false sense of selfhood apart from God; that we shall relinquish human opinions, all material sense testimony, and, instead, that we shall turn unreservedly, with childlike humility and receptivity, to the Mind that is God, good.
