A Christian Science period in the Columbia "Church of the Air"...

A Christian Science period in the Columbia "Church of the Air" series was conducted from Station KMBC, Kansas City, Missouri, Sunday morning, July 24, at nine o'clock (Eastern Standard Time) by Albert Espey, Christian Science Committee on Publication for the state of Missouri, and had the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors. Mrs. Stanley Deacon, the soloist, was assisted by Miss Gladys Schnorff, organist.

Mr. Espey opened the program by reading selections from the Bible as follows: Isaiah 40:1, 4, 5, 28–31; 43:1–3 (to :); Psalms 37:1–8, 16, 23–28, 35–37; Isaiah 41:10–13. And from the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy: Pref. vii:1–2, 13–21; 95:28–20; 239:11–15; 241:23–27; 239:16–22; 340:23–29.

After Hymn No. 40 in the Christian Science Hymnal was sung, Mr. Espey read an address substantially as follows:
