During the past year two Christian Science lectures were delivered, one in Yokohama and the other in Tokyo, both having appreciative audiences. Their healing truth reached many, including several Japanese.

The three English newspapers in Japan, two in Tokyo and one in Kobe, have published during the year nothing antagonistic to Christian Science. The Japan Advertiser of Tokyo has always been friendly and generous toward Christian Science, each year giving free announcements of the lectures, and reports of them in part.
