Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

Sweden.

Misrepresentations of Christian Science in the press are now few, and whenever it has been deemed opportune to offer a correction, such corrections have invariably been obligingly accepted and published. Many friendly references to Christian Science have appeared, and also quotations from The Christian Science Monitor, which paper evidently, although published in another language, is much appreciated by editors of Swedish newspapers. The subscription-in-exchange-for-advertising plan works most satisfactorily, and new exchanges are added from time to time.

The publicity of the Christian Science lectures in Stockholm has been handled by your Committee, in accordance with the last "Lecture Recommendations." Formerly, these lectures were reported in only a couple of newspapers; but under the new arrangement, through friendly contacts and helpful co-operation by Assistant Committees, the recent lecture was well reported in twelve daily papers, in different parts of Sweden, and besides a full report appeared in the largest Stockholm evening paper.
