In great gratitude I should like to give a testimony of my healing.

For over six years I suffered from stomach trouble and arthritis. Terrible pain, often almost unbearable, was my constant companion. There was, in addition, a fear of hereditary disease, which was increased by the views of the doctors who were treating me: and this depressed me physically and mentally. The doctors were of the opinion that because my father and mother had died of cancer I, too, had it.

I could no longer eat anything and could use my hands but little; therefore I was completely dependent on the help of others. I had but one wish left—that was to die; and daily I asked God to cut short my severe suffering and to take me to Himself. One day a kind friend came to me and told me of Christian Science, through which she had been healed. Then I attended a Wednesday testimony meeting with her. Several wonderful testimonies of healing were given which made a deep impression on me. A few days later I asked her to come to me and bring a practitioner.
