Carlisle Journal
In an article appearing in a recent issue the writer warns his readers against Christian Science. In doing so, perhaps he is unaware of the extent of the healing done through Christian Science, and the wide range of diseases, organic and functional, which have been successfully eliminated through Christian Science treatment.
If a person suffering from a so-called incurable disease, diagnosed as such by a medical practitioner, is healed through Christian Science, and the doctor then says that his diagnosis must have been an incorrect one, the observer is left with grave doubts about the value of medical diagnosis in general, but with a greater respect for Christian Science, which has healed the patient of what was considered by a medical man to be an incurable condition.
Christian Scientists have the greatest respect for reputable medical practitioners, but they follow a higher and safer way than medical science offers. Christian Science practitioners diligently pursue the way of spiritual healing, and are gaining remarkable results in the healing of all forms of sin and all kinds of diseases.
