Having received many blessings, I shall endeavor to show my gratitude by adding my testimony to the healing power of Truth as taught in Christian Science by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

Twenty years ago my wife was healed of a so-called incurable disease by one Christian Science treatment, after being under treatment of three physicians for eight years. They had decided to operate, for her case seemed hopeless, but they gave her one chance in a hundred if operated on, or four days to live if not. At that time I did not understand Christian Science, and I could not see how it could heal her after the physicians had failed. But she was healed.

In my study of Christian Science I learned that my wife's healing was the result of overcoming a belief of disease, not of sickness as a reality. How true that was I did not know until three years later, when I found by experience that sickness is only a false belief, which must be changed by the true understanding of God and man in His image and likeness.
