Please allow me space to correct what I believe gives a wrong impression regarding the Christian Science denomination.

In the morning Journal of January 22 a report of a Christian Science lecture given in the Daytona Beach church was headed, "Christian Science 'Radical.'" Yes, Christian Science is "radical" in that it does not condone sin in any form. When the devil tried to get the Master to listen to his argument in the wilderness he soon learned that Jesus was very "radical." You cannot mix truth and error.

The report says, "Visiting lecturers are 'big' events at the Christian Science temple. They do not have regular weekly sermons like other churches." The Christian Science denomination has a certain number of subjects which are dealt with in a regular or orderly manner throughout the year in Lesson-Sermons. These Lessons, dealing with different subjects, include citations from the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and the same Lesson-Sermon is read on the same Sunday in every Christian Science church or society throughout the world.
