I should like to join in the many songs of praise to God...

I should like to join in the many songs of praise to God that I read weekly and monthly in the Christian Science periodicals. Mrs. Eddy says in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" (p. 568), "A louder song, sweeter than has ever before reached high heaven, now rises clearer and nearer to the great heart of Christ; for the accuser is not there, and Love sends forth her primal and everlasting strain." Indeed, these paeans of praise are pouring forth from hearts filled with love and gratitude to God and to Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.

When Christian Science found me, I was the mother of three small boys, and my physical condition had reached the place where those in attendance felt that my chances for recovery were very questionable. A stranger offered me Christian Science literature together with the textbook. I read all she gave me with a growing conviction that I had found a demonstrable religion. Six months later an eightpound boy was born into our home, and a very inharmonious condition was healed by a Christian Science practitioner at that time.

Since then I have seen many demonstrations of the power of divine Love to meet human needs. Measles, mumps, severe nausea, contusion of the kidney, blood poisoning, and malaria are some of the physical difficulties which have been healed. I am grateful also for the comfort received through the study of this Science at the time of the sudden passing on of a child. I am grateful for the better understanding of the Science of being, as Mrs. Eddy so aptly explains it in the textbook, and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. Also for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school.
