That Christian Science does heal all our diseases and...
That Christian Science does heal all our diseases and meet every problem, great or small, has been unquestionably proved in my experience. Practically since childhood, I have learned to use Mrs. Eddy's revelation of man's relationship to God, gained through her study of the Bible. I was healed of yellow jaundice at the age of fourteen through my own understanding and putting into practice what I had been taught in the Christian Science Sunday School. After I left Sunday school, a very strong claim of nerves attacked me, and the healing of this took eight years to complete. Through this trouble my vision seemed blurred, then my hearing dulled, and eventually I became so fearful that I could hardly walk, and had to be met and taken everywhere. Also, for a period I was unable to sit in church, and constantly had the feeling I should fall. To any reader who fears these ills I can say with conviction that Christian Science has shown me their unreality and nothingness, beyond doubt.
When I was needing to find a career I was beautifully led to choose the right one. Also, when it came to choosing the right friends, and mortal mind wanted me to admire human personality instead of good qualities, I was again guided to the right decision.
I was instantaneously healed of any aftereffects at childbirth, and in a very short time was cycling as usual. I have seen a shortened limb regain its normal length during a Christian Science service. Over two years ago, through the help of a practitioner, my husband was healed of a polypus in the nose, after the doctor had declared that it was the largest he had ever seen and that an operation would be necessary to remove it. This condition was most unpleasant to others, and his speech was indistinct. I am happy to say he is now a Reader in the local Christian Science Society, and his speech is entirely clear.
